My oh my, movies.

Do you ever feel like you were born into the wrong era? The world has been made up of so many magical periods in time. I'm most fascinated by the twenties. The best thing about movies is that they allow yourself to get so caught up in a time and place that you could never go back and be a part of. Tonight's feature:

Watching this movie takes me to a place somewhere deep in the south, where the music was good, and work was hard. When I'm watching it, I can close my eyes and just feel love
It reminds me that whenever you truly find love, to never give it up for any reason whatsoever. I live for a love that oozes out of two people. You can feel it in their smile and laughter and thats what Allie and Noah remind me of.

Boy did they know how to dress!

So much style and so much love. It makes me quiver. I just absolutely love it.

Just remember, whatever you do, follow your heart. I don't care what anyone says. Once you find true love, make sure you hold on to it.
Nicholas Sparks truly knows how to pull at my heartstrings.

In other movie notes,
The Black Swan.
Allow me to being by saying that this movie is completely different than most movies I watch, therefor, I was very surprised. It was good, don't get me wrong. And I liked it, but I won't be buying it. The metaphors were easy to realize once the movie was over. And it was very shocking for the most part. But I liked it, a lot. So I give the Black Swan 4 out of 5 stars. I could have done without some of the "scenes" in it though!

Sorry my posts have been so random lately. I'm inbetween editing two photo sessions and gearing up for the next semester in school which starts next MONDAY! Yikes!
Love to you all!
I promise next post will be great!

And remember:
"Well that's what we do. We fight. You tell me when I'm being an arrogant son of a bitch and I tell you when you are being a pain in the ass, which you are 99% of the time. I'm not afraid to hurt your feelings. You have like a two second rebound rate and you're back to doing the next pain in the ass thing. So it's not going to be easy. It's going to be really hard. And we're going to have to work at this every day. But I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, forever, every day."
My most favorite quote of the movie. Reminds me of someone...

  1. ahhh reading that last part gives me chills...i adore that movie...as do so many of us i am sure! everything you said about the notebook is exactly how i feel too...oh my goodness to be able to dress like that again...i would be a happy girl :)

i have heard that black swan is quite surprising...i want to see it...my grandma saw it and had mentioned these "scenes" you are talking about...haha talking about this with my grandma is not the most comfortable thing...i'm sure you can imagine?!? :) love you miss!

  2. AH I am so mad that I just turned to the end of The Notebook :( I wanted to watch it today too!! I would have loved that era!!

  3. Ummm, hello one of my two favorite movies ever! I absolutely love this movie...I think they share the most amazing love in the world! I could watch it over and over! Plus, it makes me want to love my hubby better...which is always a positive! Second favorite movie? Serendipity...also a precious love movie!

I have been dying to see the Black Swan, but everyone's review has been like yours...and now I'm nervous. Haha.

  4. Sometimes I'm embarrassed about how much I love the notebook. I agree, I so wish I was born in another era ( but then again we wouldn't have blogging! and we wouldn't have each other!). I really want to see black swan, you've gotten me excited since its different!
Oh and that last quote (in bold) from the notebook is quite possibly the best thing a guy could ever say to a girl.

  5. OOOOH, LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS! I love the era of the 20's and feel like I should have been a teen in either that era or the 80's (barely missed that one!) Also, I love the notebook- so perfect! Have a great night girl!

  6. new follower :)

  7. The Notebook is absolutely one of my favorites! And even though he'll never admit it, it's one of my husband's favorites as well :-)

  8. sigh....the notebook...enough said.

  9. i have yet to sit through the notebook...don't ask me why i've only watched bit and pieces of it...i need to get a moment to actually watch the entire movie:)

  10. Exactly what the person above me said.... The Notebook, enough said. I have no words. :)

  11. oh the notebook. oh rachael mcadams! she is divine:)

and the black swan. oh the black swan. those scenes i could as well do without. at least they were relatively short. however, i won't buy it either. i'd have to cover pablo's eyes every time we watched it!

  12. The first sentence of this post is the story of my life! I was JUST saying that to my mom the other day right when we were watching the notebook! So crazy! I love her outfits so much in that movie she looks so classy and beautiful!

  13. Such a beautiful movie. So classy and magical in every way.

  14. I absolutely love The Notebook! Never fails to make me cry.
