...is probably one of my most favorite smells ever!
The smell of cookies baking in the oven signify all sorts of goodness. It reminds me of smiles, silly dancing, singing, indulging in tasty cookie doughy goodness, and a lot of fun times.
Yesterday, I woke up to a hungry firemen on the other line of the phone. "Can you bring us like 20 sandwiches and a ton of sugar cookies?" Surely enough, I was in the Christmas spirit. I jumped out of bed and immediately started making "tons" of cookies and "like 20 sandwiches" which really turned out to be 5 and a batch of cookies. I loaded up and Andrea hopped in the car with me. We rode off to Lady's Island, Andrea wore a Santa hat and the whole way there, she felt the need to scream out the window "Merry Christmas!!!" It was like we were off to deliver presents to these hungry firemen! They were so excited when we got there. It took seconds for the cookies to be opened and before I could say "mistletoe", Justin already had a sandwich in his hand. It felt so good to give. I just want to find more ways to give even more. Not quite sure how to do this yet, but I want to.
So, once we got home, I was nowhere near being all cookie-d out. Andrea and I started baking another batch. Only after an impromptu photo shoot with Daisy!

Today, I cut firewood with Justin. This girl drove a tractor all by herself! Totally made my day!
